Taigerbery - With the Knives Out (EP)

1990 god.The year before the "outbreak" of grunge.
The year past by the sign of Depeche Mode and their legendary album Violator.
The album brought the group unprecedented popularity and millions of new fans.
One of such bands - Taigerbery, released in 2011, their EP - With the Knives Out.
It is wonderful that Depeche Mode influence for the young musicians felt even after 20 years.
The single makes as a classic synth-pop, with a pronounced domination of synthesizer creating "artificial" sound and includes 4 songs.
The release starts with the song Lost, devoted to "lost time" and the possibility of not implementing his plan. "You're wasting your time for nothing, watching TV and playing" ... It is a very urgent problem of our time.
Chilling monotone vocal advocates resonance with the heavy sound of the rhythm-set and the traditional activity of the synthesizer.
 The second song from the EP - Dumb. It is a typical song at this genre and a great background synth drums, which perfectly complement each other.
This song is very smooth in tempo and tone, it has not the "explosion" of guitars and drums. It is also rather melancholic sound.
It is a classical imitation of Depeche Mode.
The third song, a kind of something as a modern alternative music.
Electronic background adds more pessimism. Beautiful day is the most "live" song on the release if such an epithet can be applied to the synthetic music.
The song Red light close the EP, in the spirit of the release.
